In early 2023, Jersey’s finance industry will be the subject of an EU Moneyval (Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism) review.
One of the areas that this review is likely to focus on is the industry’s approach to understanding and managing the financial crime risks and threats of conducting business in higher risk jurisdictions.
To help Jersey Finance Members prepare for this review we have engaged Themis, a financial crime specialist with an office in Saudi Arabia and extensive knowledge of the local market, to jointly host a roundtable discussion event with experts focussed on Saudi Arabia.
The roundtable event provides an opportunity to hear from an expert panel of Saudi-based practitioners and question the expert panel about key financial crime threats to Saudi and explore the implications for Jersey Finance Member firm’s Jersey operations or Members with clients and partners based in the Kingdom.
