Details

The Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Commission, the Environmental and Energy Law Commission and the Public Procurement Law Interest Group are happy to announce that they have joined forces to organise a seminar on the (legal) trends and drivers for on- and offshore renewable energy projects.

This seminar will take place in the charming city of Gdansk and will bring you insights from practitioners from all relevant fields of law: finance, energy, infrastructure, real estate, construction and public procurement.

The academic programme will be covering all hot topics such as setting up joint ventures, structuring the financing, dealing with regulatory constraints, selecting the right contractual framework and mitigating disputes during the lifecycle of a renewable project.

Gdańsk, which has always been Poland’s “window on the world”, will this time serve as a “window display” showcasing the best and latest in renewable energy projects.

Besides a great academic programme, you will have chance to spend an afternoon on one of the most spectacular Polish beaches, walk over the longest promenade in Poland, enjoy a dinner with Polish specialities in the very centre of the Old Town and explore some of the most charming historical sights of Gdańsk.

Gdańsk is a unique city with over 1000 years of tradition. Its history is so rich that it could be divided between other cities of comparable size. At the same time guests who come here in great numbers every year emphasise the special character of Gdańsk. Located on the Baltic coast, full of magnificent Gothic buildings, historic churches, interesting museums, filled with amber streets and vibrant pubs and clubs areas Gdansk invariably impresses and fascinates.

Contemporary Gdańsk is a modern European metropolis, a strong knowledge-based economy, a dynamically developing center of culture, science, entertainment, and sport, an attractive tourist destination, and the World Capital of Amber.
