The SCDOR’s Sales & Use Tax Seminars are designed to give tax information and updates to specific industries based on legislative trends and taxpayer requests. The $50 registration fee includes all material and lunch.
During this seminar, The SCDOR will provide overview of Sales, Use and Local Taxes. Advanced portions covered will be specific to the Manufacturing Industry. Topics will include (but are not limited to): information on software, maintenance and similar service contracts; exemptions related to manufacturers, processors, compounders; freight and delivery charges; machine exemption; construction material for manufacturing and distribution facilities; etc.
