Capital market decisions affect our lives. The effect of capital is undisputed, but the direction and magnitude of the effect is often left to chance.
Increasing efforts have been made in recent years to increase the proportion of intended positive effects. There are many frameworks that are discussed under the terms ESG, SDG, SRI, Impact Investing or Social Finance. The seminar gives an overview of the different terms, the regulatory framework and recommendations for the development of the own strategy.
However, this strategy should also be translated into concrete action steps. To this end, the implications of various tools, approaches and databases are evaluated and discussed. In the end, the participants should be able to incorporate the expected social impact / impact / social impact into the investment decision.
