Details
Fast Fashion Therapy (FFT) are experts in transforming the identities of clothes. They also teach darning for knitwear and the Japanese technique of boro (a visible mending technique that creates a patchwork effect). In this workshop, you will be able to consult FFT for advice on garments that you would like altered, upcycled or repaired and learn techniques so that you can continue to transform your clothes for the better after the event. This workshop will involve hand-sewing techniques instead of sewing machines. If you already have something that you would like to mend or repair, you can bring it to the event for consultation.
FFT aim to make their workshops as collaborative as possible, participants are encouraged to share their ideas and advice with each other as well.
