This high level, half day event will bring together Europe’s three key borrowers – the Next Generation EU (NGEU), European Investment Bank (EIB), and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM). We will discuss the state of play for the NextGen EU recovery programme, and the landscape for borrowing in the region in the current investment climate. Joining us on the day will include other leading issuers, investors and intermediaries to discuss the challenges and opportunities the new world of European sovereign debt presents to traditional sovereign, supranational and agency issuers from the region.
This on the record event will be broadcast globally to policy-makers, issuers, investors and central bankers that are part of the OMFIF network. All sessions will be recorded and will be made available shortly after the event has finished.
‘Team Europe’ Borrowers Forum is part of the ‘Funding a new era for Europe’ series of event that OMFIF is hosting with other sovereign borrowers in the region to discuss their funding plans and outlook of the bond markets. We are also bringing our unique network of some of the world’s most powerful and influential investors into the conversation, together with the market insight of leading intermediaries.
Key topics:
• Next Gen EU fund developments – lessons learned and outlook.
• Furthering EU funding techniques and funding instruments.
