Forecasting M&A, PE and partnerships
As central banks are set to revise interest rate policies, private equity firms are ramping up their dealmaking plans, to pre-empt a surge in valuations. For the entertainment sector, the doldrums of M&A activity last year were punctuated by peaks in transaction volume, but the discourse surrounding bigger deals remains speculative. There is logic to such deals, beyond the economic rationale, but the hurdles to be overcome encompass debt loads and an increasingly uncertain regulatory environment.
Legacy entertainment companies must advocate a sustainable long-term business model, hinged upon understanding the consumer-led drive for greater interactivity and engagement. This webinar aims to identify key growth opportunities and barriers to entry. It will serve as a precursor to our Business of Entertainment Summit, and discuss solutions to Wall Street’s concerns over the future of investment within this sector.
