Discuss the trends on functional and technological issues to modernize the Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) in the public sector of Latin America and the Caribbean countries, and the Korean experience with dBrain (Digital Budget and Accounting System in Korea); to promote efficiency, effectiveness, integrity, and transparency on public finances. The event will provide an opportunity for the officials involved on FMIS and Public Financial Management domains to learn more about the new trends in these sectors and some advanced features of next generation of dBrain, online analytical processing tools, cybersecurity, and other relevant topics. These activities are expected to help improve the capacity of participants by sharing the good practices and challenges and learning from the experiences of each other.
