The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) regulates for the first time general obligations and requirements for setting up a whistleblower system. In particular, companies with at least 50 employees are obliged to set up and operate an internal reporting office and a channel for reporting information about certain (suspected) violations of the law. Non-implementation and violation of the HinSchG can lead to significant fines.
The webinar deals with the legal requirements of the HinSchG for whistleblower systems. Among other things, the procedure after receipt of a report and how it is processed will be discussed. In this context, the follow-up measures to be taken and the data protection regulations to be observed are also considered.
