The conference will bring together sector leaders, practitioners and real examples of the work being done to end homelessness. The event will foster an environment for informed debate and discussion, examination and exploration around the good practices being utilised in the sector.
The conference will see Homes for Cathy members presenting and feeding back on progress made in delivering the 9 Homes for Cathy commitments.
Homes for Cathy is a group of housing associations that were formed in the Cathy Come Home era, that came together in 2016 to mark the 50th anniversary of Cathy Come Home and to highlight the continuing needs of homeless people. The Homes for Cathy group has been organizing a range of local and national events over the last two years, with the aim of raising awareness of the needs of the homeless and working on strategies to end homelessness.
The conference is one of the focal points of the campaign where people come together to discuss, learn good practice and share lessons learned and to forge networks.
