The UK Business Data User Conference is a one-day conference jointly organized by the UK Data Service and the Office for National Statistics. The conference will be held online and is free to attend.
Do you want to know the latest developments in UK business data? Are you interested in research using UK business surveys and data?
The conference programme contains a mixture of presentations from the  Office for National Statistics  (ONS), UK Data Service, and researchers who have used data from the UK Surveys covering the areas of business, industry and trade. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in the Q&A sessions.
Attendees will hear updates from the data producers of key UK business surveys and administrative data, such as:

• Business Structure Database
• Annual Business Survey
• Annual Inquiry into Foreign Direct Investment
• Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings
• Business Insights and Conditions Survey
• Inter-Departmental Business Register (and linked data)
• and many more.
After lunch, there will be a panel on use of government commissioned research, followed by three parallel sessions where researchers will speak on their work on business productivity, R&D and innovation, impact of investments and policy, and business trade and international markets.

There is also a lunchtime drop-in session where attendees can ask questions of our resident experts on how to craft an accredited research project.
