The Value Investor Series harkens back to the founding of NYSSA 80 years ago. It is the confluence of the worlds most prestigious investors, authors, academic experts and practitioners. Through seminars, the internet, social events and the annual Ben Graham Conference, this Series is re-establishing NYSSA as the world’s premier forum for investment thought leadership.

In 2016, the Value Investor Series brought eight NYSSA Author Series events, two social functions, four Financial Report and Analysis discussions, one hedge fund event and 10 Special Situation Ideas Forums to the NYSSA community. The Annual Ben Graham Conference, created by vice-chair Elliot Trexler, brought together nearly 20 of the world’s preeminent value investors as speakers—and managers of approximately $80Bn in assets under management—for a thoughtful discussion attended by nearly 200 NYSSA members.
