We honour and celebrate women making waves in the global payments ecosystem. Our awards program recognizes the achievements of women who have distinguished themselves as leaders, innovators, rising stars, and consummate professionals.

Our UK Awards Committee is comprised of seasoned women talent from across the payments industry.

Awards Categories:
• Innovation
The Women in Payments Award for Innovation will be awarded to a woman, in the industry who has promoted payments innovation through creativity, vision, and perseverance in her organization or the payments industry. The nominee has been instrumental in promoting innovations or creative re-engineering, and is currently employed in the UK.

• Rising Star
The Women in Payments Rising Star Award will be awarded to a woman who has up to 8 years working experience in the financial services or fintech industry: We would expect her to be currently be working as an individual contributor, and have demonstrated leadership and professional excellence in the payments industry. She should be currently employed in the UK.

• Advocate for Women
The Women in Payments Award for female advocacy will be awarded to either a man or a woman in the payments and fintech industry, who promotes female leadership and encourages and supports the career development of all women in the workplace, and their work positively impacts women working in the UK.

• Inspiration
The Women in Payments Award for Inspiration will be awarded to a woman, often an unsung hero in the industry. She is able to create a strong vision and inspire a team towards achieving a goal, either in her organization or industry. She remains focused and navigates the team towards the goal, and adjusts priorities as needed.

• Distinguished Payments Professional
The Women in Payments Distinguished Professional Award will be awarded to a woman in the industry who has influenced industry trends, acts as a role model and successfully reached and exceeded goals—taking her team, organization and/or industry to the next level.
