This position is based onsite in Alameda, CA
You will be responsible for creating, executing and overseeing editorial and in-app content for Lingo as part of the Lingo content team. You will develop content and build insights for web and app product with a customer-centric mindset. Your mission is to deliver high quality, delightful and engaging content from concept to production and storytelling through a wide range of digital formats. You will identify and collaborate with various resources including customers, influencers, partners and freelancers to create content in a multitude of different formats. You will ensure all content produced is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice and passes scientific, regulatory and legal reviews.
You will closely work with the Content Director in shaping the Lingo content strategy. As we deploy agile squads in product development and tech, you will collaborate with insights, design, product owners, data science, clinical and other experts to ensure delivery of editorial content. You will develop lead a network of content creators and freelancers, help them execute the content plan.
You have experience running a team/network of content creators in a fast-changing consumer tech environment.
Key Responsibilities And Accountability
Manage all Lingo long-form and expert content.
Source external content writers and experts to create on-brand, effective content.
Manage the creation and placement of editorial content throughout Lingo product and marketing surfaces.
Contribute to in-app coaching plans, collaborate with Product team.
Upload all finished content to our content management system (AEM).
Work with the Lingo Content team to map out deliverables and campaigns end-to-end.
Create and lead the implementation of an editorial strategy and journey for users.
Manage the overall existing library of content.
Manage the content review process with necessary stakeholders.
Pivotal Experience And Expertise
8+ years' experience writing editorial content and managing external experts/content writers.
Knowledge of APA, AP, MLA styles.
Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
Proven ability with product-based coaching content strategy.
Experience with SEO best practices and editorial calendar management.
Knowledge of content management systems (preferably AEM).
Background in healthcare or health-tech products is a plus.
Collaborate and create with the rest of the Lingo Content team.
Management experience, leading team of four or more.
Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, or similar disciplines.
