Academic / Editorial Copywriter
We are seeking a creative copywriter contractor with extensive experience translating complex, data-driven concepts into digestible, compelling content. This role encompasses a variety of content types, including website copy, CEO thought leadership, academic publications, and research papers. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare, healthcare AI, healthcare technology, biopharma, or neuroscience.
What you’ll achieve:
Translate complex, data-driven concepts into clear, engaging, and informative content.
Develop content across various mediums, including web, print, and academic publications.
Collaborate with leaders to develop impactful storytelling strategies.
Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and aligns with Surgo Health's brand voice and mission.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
About you:
5-10 years of copywriting experience translating complex concepts into digestible, compelling content
Background in behavioral science, healthcare, healthcare tech, biopharma, or AI
Experience with data visualization and supporting the translation of data into compelling narratives
Familiarity with AI tools and technologies
Bonus points if you have experience writing for top-tier media publications
