Sr. Social Media Producer

This is a remote position with a preference of being based within the state of Texas.

Advance Local is eager to welcome a Senior Social Media Producer to our team, just in time for the launch of our brand-new website this summer. This position will play a crucial role in expanding our audience rapidly, utilizing both established and emerging social media platforms to elevate our brand, foster relationships with a diverse readership, and tailor our reporting to resonate deeply with our audience.

We are excited to explore innovative approaches to social media. We aim to move beyond the confines of established platforms like Facebook and Twitter and seek to engage our audience through inventive methods such as vertical video, social cards, animations, direct interactions, and other interactive features. We're seeking an experienced Social Media Producer who will collaborate with our reporters and editors to produce content that is not just entertaining and informative, but also genuinely representative of the diverse and authentic Texan community.
