Blog Editor (Advertising)

We're looking for an experienced editor to help oversee our online blog, blog writers, landing page content and all digital resources, guides, etc. Position is remote.

Responsibilities:
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more writers.
- Experience overseeing 20-40 published blog articles per week.
- Experience working with design team to create custom blog thumbnails that follow brand guidelines.
- Schedule and attend several weekly zoom calls with team members.
- Coordinate between SEO teams, writing teams, graphic design teams to implement content quickly.
- Personally write 2-3 long form articles focused on creating unique content around key topics.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Should have a college degree in English.
- WordPress
- Slack, Gmail, Google Docs, Zoom.
- SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEM Rush, etc)
- AI writing tools (ChatGBT, Google Bard, etc)
- Writing Tools (Grammarly, Hemenway Editor, etc)
- Must have working laptop, free of issues that slow down productivity.

Project will begin as part time position, but has potential as a full time role as we increase output. Workload will be 50% editing content, 25% management and 25% writing long form articles on highly targeted subjects.

We are actively pushing to improve our organic ranking and looking at every possible aspect that will help us rank higher. We often rewrite articles multiple times until they meet all the criteria needed for high ranking. Many of our articles and landing pages rank #1 on Google, so we're looking for a writer that wants to help play the content game and come out on top against our competitors.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
