We're looking for an experienced editor to help oversee our online blog, blog writers, landing page content and all digital resources, guides, etc. Position is remote.
Responsibilities:
- Experience managing a team of 5 or more writers.
- Experience overseeing 20-40 published blog articles per week.
- Experience working with design team to create custom blog thumbnails that follow brand guidelines.
- Schedule and attend several weekly zoom calls with team members.
- Coordinate between SEO teams, writing teams, graphic design teams to implement content quickly.
- Personally write 2-3 long form articles focused on creating unique content around key topics.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Should have a college degree in English.
- WordPress
- Slack, Gmail, Google Docs, Zoom.
- SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEM Rush, etc)
- AI writing tools (ChatGBT, Google Bard, etc)
- Writing Tools (Grammarly, Hemenway Editor, etc)
- Must have working laptop, free of issues that slow down productivity.
Project will begin as part time position, but has potential as a full time role as we increase output. Workload will be 50% editing content, 25% management and 25% writing long form articles on highly targeted subjects.
