Corporate Communications’ primary responsibility is to protect and enhance AIG’s reputation and valuation. They deliver in-house “agency” services from a multidisciplined team with extensive experience in strategic advisory and integrated execution services for reputation-critical corporate activities.

What you need to know:

This is fantastic role within our Marketing & Communications department where you can really make your mark by taking ownership of the internal communications programme for the UK. You will work with business leaders and heads of department to learn about their priorities and support them with developing content.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

Manage the day-to-day internal communications for the UK
Build a brand identity and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online.
Develop content strategies
Draft communications for UK leadership
Develop written corporate material for different outlets, including change communications
Drafting and managing communications internally (e.g., appointment announcements, speeches, lectures, townhalls)
Manage and develop content for the intranet and other digital channels
Plan and coordinate employee wellbeing initiatives
Brand management

What we’re looking for:

Marketing or communications qualification
Internal Communications experience within a large, complex organization
Experience of developing content strategies and writing content from scratch
Experience in managing an intranet or website with an understanding of the back-end
Ability to manage a complex workload and work autonomously to tight deadlines
A great team player who is confident, proactive and self-motivated
