Editorial Intern

The Dotdash Meredith Summer Internship Program is a 10 week full time program that runs from June 3rd through August 9th, based out of our New York office. The intern program consists of hands-on learning, opportunities to create work that has an impact on the business, along with workshops in preparing you for post-college life (resume / interviewing) plus, some fun events throughout the summer!

The rate for our DDM Summer Internship is $20/hour.

About the Role:

An editorial intern for Allrecipes can expect to learn a comprehensive, integrated, and cross-platform perspective on the world's largest digital brand—and its print publication, the food industry's first large-scale digital-to-print brand extension.

Recipe editorial: Work with allrecipes.com recipe team to produce and edit new recipes; assist print team in selecting recipes for upcoming issues.

Evergreen, news and trending editorial: Assist editorial teams with pitching, writing, editing, and updating evergreen and news and trending content.

About You:

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once

Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges

Interest in food and cooking

Experience writing and/or editing (and a desire to learn, grow, and improve writing and editing skills)

Hourly: $20 - $20
