Nectar also develops websites for its clients and manages the clients’ paid and email marketing with innovative technology, world-class designers and copywriters, and expert digital marketers.
Description of the Role
We are looking for an experienced copywriter with an eye for untapped markets, love of marketing, and most of all, a creative. You’ll need to bring not only a passion for the written word, but an adaptability to write about a variety of products–from Korean beauty products to novelty socks. Our team is vibrant, dynamic, and engaging, and we’re looking for a writer to match.
As a Copywriter on our team, you will primarily be writing Amazon.com product listing copy, A+ content, and PPC headlines. Other duties might include writing, editing, and proofreading content for various deliverables: emails, social media, websites, blog posts, buying guides, scripts for videos, and other general digital content as needed.
You must have e-commerce product copywriting experience. If you have experience writing copy specifically for Amazon product detail pages, your application will be prioritized.
This is a fully remote position.
Job Responsibilities
Write/edit clear, concise, clean, and optimized copy for Amazon.com listings for a variety of retail products.
Conduct thorough market and competitor research to write complete and accurate product copy.
Create SEO-rich copy to drive traffic and boost sales.
Collaborate frequently with other remote departments and work with a team of virtual assistants.
Manage a variety of projects simultaneously, time budget accordingly, and never miss a deadline.
Study and adhere to Nectar and Amazon copy guidelines and best practices.
Adapt quickly to constantly changing priorities and internal processes.
Contribute to developing written best practices/style guide, standard operating procedures, and recommendations to improve processes and tools.
Other writing duties as needed.
Job Requirements
Excellent copywriting skills.
Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
Strong professional, interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
Proficient working with G-Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
Works well both independently and in a continuously evolving environment.
Experience with Amazon listings and Helium10 strongly preferred.
Must have a laptop/computer with two monitors, keyboard/mouse, webcam/microphone, speakers, quiet personal workspace, and a strong internet connection.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 based on experience
You are also eligible for an end-of-year performance bonus up to 10% of your salary based on your performance and the companies’ performance.
You will receive a minimum of one compensation review per 12 months.
This is a salaried remote position at 40 hours per week.
You will be eligible for employer-provided health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days
Nectar provides a 401k plan with an employer match component after 60 days.
Nectar provides 15 days of prorated PTO in your first year after your 60th day of employment; 15 full days of PTO in your first full year; and 20 days of PTO in your second full year of employment.
Nectar is closed for 8 days per year, which includes 7 Federal holidays and Black Friday. We also offer 2 flex holidays that can be used for Presidents Day, Juneteenth, or Columbus Day.
Nectar provides each team member with a $200 annual office stipend after 60 days of employment
