American City Business Journals is looking for an exceptional editor for The National Observer, the company’s highest-circulation national newsletter. The editor is responsible for the quality and relevance of The National Observer, ensuring that it hits the mark every day for our audience of powerful decision-makers across the country. To that end, the TNO editor writes, edits and curates national business news from internal and other sources, weaving together a story of the business of the day. The TNO editor is responsible to help grow the TNO brand, by writing with voice and authority, serving as the face of the brand, and by building a loyal audience who sees the TNO Editor as the go-to expert on local and national business news. The TNO editor reports to ACBJ’s Director, Email Publications. Success is measured by email subscription growth and engagement, and national subscriptions generated.
