AmeriCU Credit Union is in search of a PR & Communications Specialist who aligns directly with our mission to provide our members with the right financial services to live life, dream big, and achieve financial success, and our vision to be the most admired organization in every community we serve. The PR & Communications Specialist will be instrumental in building and implementing a cohesive communications strategy that aligns to our business goals/objectives to further engage and develop relationships with current and prospective Members, help grow market share, increase sales revenue, increase Member retention, and enhance upsell/cross-sell opportunities. As a PR & Communications Specialist your primary responsibilities will be to direct, craft, manage and execute the organization’s communications strategy to engage Members, increase sales revenue, attract new members, increase member retention, and enhance upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Responsibilities will also include using 1) Marketing and PR channels to drive awareness of AmeriCU’s products and services, community giveback, organizational progress, and overall brand/value proposition, 2) Working with the digital marketing team to build and manage AmeriCU’s paid and organic social media platforms including content generation and monitoring to drive engagement, 3) Working with the creative and digital marketing teams to create promotional content for print assets and paid media strategies and 4) Deploying tactics to drive online traffic to the company’s website, manage and update consumer content to provide accurate, compelling, and updated information to build brand affinity and loyalty.
