New Posted 10 January 2024 | Manchester, England, United Kingdom | AO

We love helping our customers find amazing electricals for their home, and this journey starts with our incredible online content.

As a Copywriter you’ll use your creativity to shape content across our core web pages, bringing products to life and making the shopping journey as easy as possible for customers. It’s our job to turn the technical and complicated into friendly and easy to understand language, creating game-changing copy that’s in line with our tone of voice.

We know we work better when we’re together, so all our AOers come into the office Monday to Friday. We collaborate more easily, have continual conversations, we’re more creative, give better support, and all this makes us more motivated and even better at what we do.

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing

Responsible for the delivery of copy on our product pages from end to end, including product descriptions, video scripts and more
Writing articles that demystify tech and jargon, explaining the benefits of features and helping customers understand the most important information about the products we sell
Collaborating on UX content throughout the core customer journey - using informed insights to create an effortless customer experience, balancing practical instruction and brand personality
Working closely with teams around the business to ensure projects meet deadlines
Ensure our content is consistent across the site - be the guardian of our tone of voice
Be proactive, but work closely with the Copy Team Lead and Copy Manager to collaborate on ideas
