Apartment Therapy Media is looking for a full-time SEO Commerce Writer to join our commerce team! This role will report directly to our Commerce Managing Editor and will focus on SEO content. The SEO Commerce Writer will work closely with the Commerce SEO Editor and SEO team on refreshing top-performing SEO shopping content, including Best Lists and gift guide content, as well as optimizing existing content and writing new content based on SEO keywords and trends. The SEO Commerce Writer will also spearhead our tentpole deals lists and write reviews and other content as needed. The ideal candidate must be a strong writer, familiar with SEO best practices, organized, and able to multitask. This person should have an interest in creating commerce content, be a team player, and have a positive attitude and upbeat spirit.

Responsibilities:

Refresh and write SEO-driven commerce content, based on recommendations from Commerce SEO Editor and the SEO team.
Use keyword research and revenue data insights to Identify opportunities for new commerce posts.
Monitor performance of SEO-focused commerce content using Google Analytics, Trackonomics, and Parse.ly.
Maintain calendar of SEO content updates and ensure deadlines are met.
Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings with members of the Commerce Team and Growth Team.

Requirements

BA/BS degree English, journalism, marketing, or equivalent experience
Two years of experience as a writer for an online publisher, preferably an e-commerce writer
Familiar with SEO best practices and experience using Google Analytics and other industry-leading SEO tools
Interest in e-commerce, retail, and creating compelling shopping content
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work within technical systems/content management systems (CMS)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Highly adaptable and quick to learn new processes

Salary: $60,000
