Video Content Editor

My client, a global wealth management firm based in the heart of London, is looking for a passionate and creative Video Content Editor with motion graphics skills to join their studio team on a permanent basis.

You will be working as part of the video team to create engaging video solutions, and edit existing content ensuring it is within brand guidelines. You will have a fierce passion for all things video and creative, constantly bringing fresh ideas into your team. You will demonstrate a keen interest in emerging technologies in the creative and video production process and readily adopt new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

Create engaging video solutions from their conception to final sign-off
Edit existing output from various sources to be in line with brand guidelines
Create video edits across a range of formats using Adobe Creative Cloud - Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
Ensure video outputs are consistent and accurate and follow brand guidelines specified with a high attention to detail and pushing the brand boundaries where applicable
Ensure work is completed within time and budget and raise any concerns relating to deadlines early on
Act as a brand guardian ensuring the videos created always meets brand guidelines and the editing brief and that quality control checklists and procedures are always followed

The Ideal Candidate:

A track record of creating successful client deliverables and assets such as, animations, video editing and digital media
A master in Premiere Pro and good knowledge in AfterEffects is required
You’ll have a deep understanding of the creative process and production lifecycle, industry standard methods and tools
You’re able to work accurately under pressure and be committed to regularly updating skills through training
As challenges will come to you, your solutions-focused mentality will ensure they are responded to and handled in an appropriate way
You’ll be comfortable communicating with senior-level clients in order to understand their concepts and interpret them visually
