Associate Digital Editor, Architectural Digest

Architectural Digest (AD), the international design authority, is looking for a creative, proactive, full-time associate digital editor who can write and produce engaging design and lifestyle content for its site. The ideal candidate creates clean copy quickly, has unparalleled organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Primary Responsibilities

Write and refresh content daily according to SEO guidelines, responding to trending and evergreen keywords

Work with editors, translators, and rights teams to identify, adapt, and track content for syndication among global editions

Pitch, package, and write design-related roundups based on trending topics

Produce magazine content for digital platforms including site, social, and newsletter

Meet all assigned deadlines and KPIs such as content volume, audience engagement, UVs, time spent, etc.

Contribute to events, special projects, and business/commercial initiatives, with copywriting, packaging, production, tracking performance, and more

Develop meaningful industry contacts and awareness of designers/trends

Additional projects and duties as assigned

Requirements

2-3 years of relevant experience with a design/lifestyle brand or media publisher

Impeccable editorial judgment, writing skills, and ability to create unique content that scales

A passion for the design category and knowledge of its key players and trends

Proven ability to work independently, quickly, and efficiently with an eye for detail

Expertise with various publishing tools and spreadsheets

The expected base salary range for this position is from $65,000 - $84,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
