What will you be doing?
This is a managerial position that oversees real-time coverage of the related industry, including but not limited to the price-assessment process, creation of market analysis and breaking news, coverage of events such as press conferences and industry gatherings, and management support. The editor also collaborates with colleagues on other teams and in other regions.
The editor is responsible for maintaining quality of the team’s market price assessments and adhering to rigorous compliance standards; including regular or backup market coverage as needed. The editor helps oversee the quality and relevance of methodologies alongside the Senior Products Editor; helps direct, write and edit market commentaries, news and analysis; ensures end-of-day publication of content to subscribers; and liaises with and supports business development and sector leadership where needed.
The position also requires involvement in the hiring process, conducting regular staff reviews to give and receive feedback, ensuring adequate team staffing around vacations and sick leave and contributing to external presentations as needed or directed.
What we’re looking for in you:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, economics, business, history or relevant field.
Demonstrated goal-oriented collaboration skills, with strong diplomatic and problem-solving ability.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a price reporting agency or a professional publishing capacity.
Prior management experience a plus.
A commitment to the highest level of accuracy and completing all writing within established deadlines.
Self-motivated, able to use initiative and equipped with an inquisitive nature.
