Argus is seeking a market reporter to join the European products team in London, which covers the refined oil products markets including gasoline, naphtha and diesel. As a member of this team, you will become familiar with all of these markets and an expert in one or more of them. Reporting on the marine fuels market is likely to be the primary responsibility for this role. You will cover the refined products market through daily price assessments, writing interesting, analytical market commentaries, news coverage and in-depth analysis to appear online and in the daily Argus European Products report. You will also be responsible for maintaining and expanding the contact base and attending conferences. The refined products market is changing, with international trade flows shifting and new legislation driving the market into new areas. As a midstream market, there is overlap and the opportunity to learn about upstream crude oil markets and downstream fuel markets, as well as the tangential biofuels markets. You will work in tandem with other reporters and editors who will provide training and support to develop in-depth knowledge of the markets.
