We have an exciting opportunity for a Journalist to join our team at Wave FM in Wollongong. We’re looking for a newshound skilled at sniffing out stories and chasing interviews for our markets right across regional New South Wales. This is a great opportunity for a passionate journalist to hone their skills under the guidance of some of the best in the industry.

About the role:
Produce and present news to an exceptional standard for ARN with a focus on credibility and accuracy.
Proactively chase interviews for unique local news stories.
Presenting the news in a credible, engaging, and authoritative style.
Be a key member of the News Team and contribute to the delivery of news across all markets.

About you:
Good news presentation, radio production and communication skills.
Ability to chase, produce, and present compelling stories and interviews.
Passion for news and a good understanding of the license area.
Degree or qualification in Communications/Journalism.
Knowledge of media law, as it applies to radio and digital broadcasting in Australia.
