Notes : This writer will be doing coverage on the MLS Season Pass for the 2024 season

Would ideally like to bring someone on who speaks and writes in Spanish
The hybrid schedule must be local to Culver City
The schedule is MonWed, and SatSun. Days off are Thurs/Fri
Shift time would need to be flexible depending on the time of the games but mostly would be 3:30 pm to 10 pm PST.
HM is looking for a "soccer expert" with excellent writing experience

Job Description (including duties, skills, and education):

We're looking for a dynamic, highly organized writer to help craft strategic messaging that will appear on the Client TV app and additional customer-facing comms.
Must be a top-notch writer and skilled copy editor who can both work independently and collaborate across a wide variety of teams to ensure that our creative vision is realized in the copy that we produce.
This person will craft a range of messaging and must be a brilliant communicator, both spoken and written, with deep knowledge and experience writing about soccer and baseball especially.

Key Qualifications:

Deep experience writing about professional soccer.
Experience managing accelerated timelines and shifting deliverables while being able to prioritize, communicate tradeoffs, and stay on track.
Experience partnering with various stakeholders to tell stories in online environments.
Excellent communication, cross-department collaboration, and planning skills with impeccable attention to detail.
Experience editing copy.
Experience driving editorial strategy and working hands-on to realize that vision.
