Creative Services at ASOS
ASOS Creative Services acts as an internal resource, servicing the business across all our marketing & commercial creative requirement.
We are a large team which includes Creative, Design, Videography, Photography, Copy + Editorial, Translation, Fashion, PR, Talent, Integrated Producers, Traffic and Project Management. We also maintain strong relationships with our right-shore & technology partners.
Our aim is to provide relevant and engaging content that inspires our target audience of fashion loving 20 something’s and delivers our message that ASOS is the coolest place on earth for them to shop.
About The Role
Great opportunity to manage our team of editors & writers. Based in London, you will work closely with the Creative Services Director to manage your team on projects across .COM, CRM, social media (both paid and organic) and ASOS brand and partner campaigns. Your team will work closely with the fashion editors, art directors and video creatives to create our campaigns and make sure that the ASOS tone of voice and brand values are upheld through everything we do.
The role will lead the copy team to deliver concepts and copy for a wide range of own brand and partner briefs and help to manage a growing team along with the Head of Creative. You’ll be able to write for both our menswear and womenswear customer, and work on the main ASOS brands, as well as venture and third-party brands. You’ll be able to juggle multiple projects and be enthusiastic about writing anything and everything for a brand with a strong editorial voice. You should be comfortable presenting and able to inspire and lead more junior creatives within the team. What You’ll Be Doing
Building an ideas-first environment for the creative copy team to work in and overseeing their projects
Taking responsibility for the creative philosophy when it comes to creative brand strategy and the standard of output
Helping to guide and develop ideas with the more junior members of the creative copy team
Pitching ideas and presenting to Head of Creative. Overseeing several projects from start to finish, keeping to deadlines, and signing off on these projects before they are presented.
Qualifications
Who We’d Like to Meet
Plugged into 20 something trends and online content; you’ll be able to understand the needs of ASOS target customer
Strong understanding of digital/online technology and its application across multi-channel content publishing inc. email, push and social.
Experience working on brand campaigns.
Super-organised and able to manage their own workload
Experience in leading a team of creatives
The ability to mentor and develop a team with different levels of experience
Strong influencing skills, articulate and confident presenter
Experience working with global markets
A creative and innovative thinker and collaborator.
Has strong writing skills - the ability to convey a message in everything from short snappy headline to a longer-form article.
Comfortable with responsibility, accountability and ambiguity.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid change
Someone who is willing to be office-based
