Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field.
Two years of writing and editing experience.
Has working knowledge of AP Style and utilizes it accordingly.
Experience with WordPress.
Experience with SEO best practices and strategies preferred.
Working knowledge of financial, investment, and tech concepts IS A MUST.
Outstanding writing, editing, and grammar skills and a strong commitment to accuracy and comprehensiveness.
Excellent research, writing, and editorial skills with the ability to effectively provide constructive feedback and coaching to writers.
Can work in a team environment and across diverse groups; demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and has strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to effectively manage workload and meet established deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Perform meticulous copyediting, proofreading, and formatting of articles to ensure clarity, grammar, accuracy, consistency, style, and tone, preparing them for publication.
Diligently verify statistics, facts, and sources to maintain the integrity and credibility of the content, upholding our commitment to delivering accurate and reliable information.
Deeply understand the target audience and provide valuable insights to writers, guiding them in tailoring content to meet audience expectations and interests.
Collaborate with the compliance team to monitor and ensure adherence to guidelines, avoiding the use of prohibited terms, phrases, and concepts in the content.
Contribute to the creation of high-quality, reader-focused articles that are not only shareable but also optimized for ranking on various platforms.
Assist writers in effectively utilizing editorial guidelines, emphasizing the inclusion of useful information and expertise in all copies.
Ensure each article maintains an engaging and logical flow from start to finish, enhancing the overall reader experience.
Optimize previously published content, which may involve rewriting copy to provide educational, high-quality material that aligns with current standards.
Work closely with the Editorial Director to align editorial strategies, content quality, and overall publication goals, ensuring a cohesive and impactful online presence.
