Assistant Editor

The Science History Institute is seeking a full-time Assistant Editor to write for Distillations magazine and lead the magazine’s online production. The Assistant Editor will produce articles that challenge the public’s understanding of science and reveal science’s role in shaping history and current events. These features and essays will be created both independently and in collaboration with in-house experts and visiting scholars. The Assistant Editor will be responsible for researching and editing imagery used in magazine articles and for publishing stories on the Science History Institute’s website. This position reports to the Editorial Director.
