About The Role:
The Editorial team at TTG is seeking an enthusiastic Associate Editor to support multiple properties across our global business. The ideal candidate is an excellent writer and communicator, has great copy editing skills and a knowledge and passion for theatre.
Reporting to the Director of Editorial + SEO based in London, you’ll be responsible for web production, news writing, image sourcing, show page upkeep, and copywriting. You will work closely with Editorial, SEO and Marketing teams to keep our editorial high-performing across our global properties including: todaytix.com , londontheatre.co.uk , and boxoffice.co.uk .

Please note: This is a full time position and qualified candidates must be based in the London area, as this is a hybrid position (working both from home and in the office). Expected time in the office is 1 - 2 days a week.
What You'll Do:
Write news content for londontheatre.co.uk , manage incoming press releases and invites, and turn around quick news stories
Write evergreen features with high SEO value
Oversee web production and build articles in the content management system
Work with the show set-up and merchandising teams on content and SEO best practices and be the main point of liaison for content requests
Keep evergreen content, show pages, and venue pages regularly updated to boost SEO value and keep information relevant, including but not limited to: casting changes, new show additions, and more
Manage show reviews calendar and freelance review assignments
Source, edit, and upload all image resources across content platforms
Track, submit, and manage all freelancer invoices
Assist in content editing and writing
Participate in all editorial meetings and content brainstorms and pitch article ideas based on keyword research and trends
We're Looking for Someone With:
2-3 years experience working in journalism, content marketing, or SEO
Excellent writing and copyediting skills
A basic understanding of SEO
Experience working with content management systems, photo editing software, and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
A knowledge of and passion for theatre is preferred
