We are excited to hire an Associate Producer/Editor. The Associate Producer/Editor is responsible for creating compelling content – from concept to completion – for distribution on all Broncos’ media platforms. This position applies finishing touches on edited content and executes certain live, multi-camera production shoots. The Associate Producer creates stories, edits, writes, creates program rundowns, shoots, and works in all areas relative to the production process, having professional knowledge of sound, sets, graphics and lighting.
Responsibilities:
Edit content and programming by:
Editing, finalizing, and approving a variety of content including evaluation, audio sweetening and color correction
Using the correct timing for commercial breaks at different TV stations
Searching the video archive for unique footage to feature in programming
Meeting editing deadlines on-time
Meet production assistant goals by:
Key Grip video production sets during interview filming
Operating the 2nd camera on set during interview filming
Operating the audio boom for video shoots on location
Document the best takes on set as noted by the Director
Help in all aspects of the video production
Develop and produce content by :
Bringing new ideas for long-form shows, ThunderVision content and all team platforms
Storyboarding new visual ideas
Producing show/segment rundowns
Writing scripts for long-form shows and shorter ThunderVision content
Meet live production needs by:
Working in studio during live and post production
Setting up the studio (cameras, lighting, and control room)
Keeping current with production trends for production studio
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Broadcasting, Journalism, or related field
3+ years’ experience creating sports programming content (shooting, editing, graphics, sound design)
3+ years’ experience working in sports
Experience working in a sports or entertainment venue, including knowledge of video display systems
Advanced working knowledge and experience with Adobe Premiere and graphic software.
Working knowledge of media asset programs
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, all Broncos home games, and public events as assigned
Preferred Skills and Ability:
Creative writing skills and ability to plan and organize are essential
Strong communication, business, problem solving and customer-service oriented skills
Color-correction and sound design knowledge and experience
The ability to take behind-the-scenes pictures on set
Candidate must be energetic, self-motivated, responsible, detail oriented and able to operate calmly under extreme pressure
Must understand timelines relative to broadcast and gameday productions
Must work well in a collaborative environment and work as part of a team

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $66,000 - $70,000 and will be eligible for an annual bonus. This is a full-time exempt position. This position will be required to work game days and/or events outside of a normal working hours as needed.
This position will be located at the Denver Broncos Training Center in Englewood, CO.
