We are seeking an Associate Publisher who will play a pivotal role in shaping our open science vision and driving the growth of AIP Publishing's open access (OA) journal portfolio.
Responsibilities will encompass crafting a strategic plan for title expansion, formulating business plans and financial projections, and ensuring the successful launch of new journals that meet their financial and editorial targets. In addition, the role will develop innovative publishing, peer-review, and distribution formats that enhance the publication experience for authors, reviewers, and readers within the respective communities we serve.
Additionally, you will oversee P&L management, driving editorial and financial growth while closely monitoring key performance indicators defined by our organizational strategy and journal expansion business plans.

To be considered you’ll:
Bring significant experience (5+ years) working in the publishing industry, where you have experience in developing editorial products and leading editorial and/or publishing teams.
Have a minimum of 2 years' experience directly managing and developing staff, showcasing your ability to coach and nurture talent.
Additional details:
$120,000 - $130,000
