Journalist (Farm Weekly)

We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable person with a passion for the rural industry to join our editorial department.

The position would suit a journalist who is looking for a new opportunity with strong career advancement opportunities.

The successful candidate will report on issues important to WA farmers for both our print and online audiences.

An understanding of agriculture and regional WA and/or experience in the agriculture industry would be seen as highly valuable, but not essential.

The person we are seeking must be well presented, have excellent communication skills, be prepared to work unsupervised and have attention to detail.

The successful candidate will join our editorial department in our South Perth office and have regular country travel.

The candidate must be:

Good with time management to meet important deadlines.
A good communicator who is happy to network with new people
Someone with a valid driver's licence
Willing to explore regional WA to meet with great people and tell great stories.
