The roles are unique in scope, with the opportunity to work across government bringing together a broad suite of skills, including strategic policy, regulatory reform, data and digital strategy, human-centred design, business engagement, program management, and corporate support. The STS Taskforce has a vacancy for a Communications and Media Officer. The role is a specialist position reporting directly to the Assistant Director Communications and Media. The Communications and Media Officer will support the Communications and Media Team to build and protect the reputation of the STS Taskforce by developing compelling and creative communication and media products that enable and enhance our reform agenda. This role is important for formulating and achieving positive impact and wider dissemination of Taskforce messaging about the STS through communication with business and government stakeholders, and the wider public, including communication and media products, e.g., Budget announcements, print, video, events, social, media and website communication. The Communications and Media Officer receives supervision support and direction from the Assistant Director Communications and Media and Director, Communications and Media. The successful candidate(s) will have extensive communications experience and experience developing and managing digital content including website content, email newsletters and social media.
