Partner with corporate leadership teams with the intent to become a trusted resource to help companies gain access and insight to their shareholder base. Strong communication, attention to detail, diligence, consistent client service, positive approach and an interest in understanding a company’s business and their investor strategy are significant attributes of this role.
Proactively build new and maintain current relationships with corporate leadership (CEO, CFO, Investor Relations), including in-person, phone, email correspondence. Regular discussion with companies regarding investor profiles/targeting and ownership analysis.
Partner with Baird’s Senior Research Analysts and their teams to align investor relations strategy for covered companies. Baird research analysts cover ~ 750 public companies across multiple sectors.
Identify aligned and relevant non-covered companies to build new relationship with and gain a full understanding of their investor relations strategy and needs.
Collaborate with Baird sales teams to establish client interest and build investor schedules for non-deal roadshows, conferences, field trips, HQ visits, conference calls.
Provide differentiated and seamless execution for corporate access activities from start to finish, including high volume of emails, phone calls and correspondence internally and externally.
Gain an understanding and become knowledgeable about the coverage companies and sectors; ultimately identifying trends and insights into investor marketing activity across the industry.
Diligent maintenance of internal database for communication and business continuity.
