Job Information
How would you like to be part of the exciting daytime output on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire? We’ve got a rare opportunity for a great storyteller to join us as a live reporter, broadcasting from across the county into our Breakfast and Daytime shows. One day you could be in the middle of the Fens talking about potatoes, the next you’re in a tech company in Cambridge telling listeners about the latest development in artificial intelligence. As well as delivering for radio, you’ll also need to think about digital content, including photos and videos. A knowledge of Cambridgeshire would be an advantage, but above all we’re looking for someone who is excited about this opportunity and has some great ideas.
Main Responsibilities
- You’ll be the live reporter for BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, out and about from early every weekday morning until lunchtime, providing content for our breakfast and daytime shows.
- You’ll be pitching stories and guests, helping the production teams to plan shows.
