Journalist

BBC Wales Investigates is looking for a journalist to work on challenging and agenda-setting stories. Engaging with people from all walks of life, encouraging them to recount their experiences in accurate and accessible ways. You will generate and investigate strong story ideas, interview and research which may lead to an opportunity to produce content or a programme. The successful candidate will have strong journalistic skills and need to demonstrate a sound knowledge of news and current affairs as well as having strong editorial judgement and a thorough knowledge of producer guidelines. You'll have a proven track record in programme production. The ability to use a camera and an understanding of the editing system, e.g. Avid, is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
