You will be part of a team of 50 Journalists based in Salford working across Radio, TV and Digital. We make programmes and content for Radio 5 Live, Breakfast TV, Podcasts, World Service Radio, Business Daily, World Business Report, Radio 4, plus lots of Digital and Online Journalism. It’s a new team, we are building a hub of audio excellence, broadcasting to the world with a particular remit to reach underserved audiences, find under-covered stories and to explain the big economic issues in an accessible way plus we will be tapping into the changing trends in work and money across the globe. We will work in a collaborative, creative and inclusive way, good ideas will be highly prized and you’ll get support to be as journalistically creative as possible. We’ll be interviewing global business leaders alongside workers and consumers to really bring money stories to life. We want to work flexibly with journalists getting opportunities to develop new skills across the whole team. The Salford Hub is part of the wider Money and Work Team, formerly the BBC’s Business Unit and has journalists based in London, Glasgow and across the World.
