Picture Editor (Click)

You will be part of the BBC News Technology & Innovation Story Team based in Glasgow working on the weekly technology programme Click. We are building a hub of journalistic excellence, broadcasting to the world with a particular remit to reach underserved audiences, find under-covered stories and to explain the big technology and innovation issues and developments in an accessible way, plus we will be tapping into the changing trends around the world. We will work in a collaborative, creative and inclusive way, good ideas will be highly prized and you’ll get support to be as creative as possible. The Technology & Innovation Story Team is part of the wider Money and Work Team, formerly the BBC’s Business Unit and has journalists based in London, Salford, Glasgow and across the World. Our picture editor will work mainly towards Click, but also make versions of the film for other BBC News output – including online, social media and TV programmes.
