Senior Journalist Reporter

BBC East is looking for a multi-skilled Senior Journalist Reporter to help drive our news coverage of Essex across TV, Online and Radio. You will be confident writing for online, filming and editing your reports to deadlines and will also be keen to tell your stories on radio. You will be passionate about finding the best stories in Essex and reporting them across all our platforms. You will be enthusiastic about a Digital First approach to telling stories. This is a multi-skilled job. Senior Journalist Reporters often shoot, edit and report on their own stories. You’ll need good research, reporting, shoot-edit skills and senior editorial judgement. You’ll enjoy working with a wider team (across digital, TV and radio) to ensure audiences across all platforms benefit from your work.
