THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Co-ordinator to work on BBC 1’s flagship daytime show Morning Live, who is passionate about programme making, who thrives working in a dynamic environment and who will inspire their production management teams in thinking of new, commercial and innovative ways of working.

You will be experienced in forecasting budgets, responding to the demands of working in live television as well as supporting the PM and JPM with editorial and special content requirements. Due to the nature of a daily LIVE show, you would need to respond well to a fast paced environment.

This role will be based in the Morning Live studio in Central Manchester. You would need to be available to be in the studio/office at 5am on your studio weeks, but can be hybrid working during your prep weeks with some office support required.


WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

• Demonstrable experience in a Production Co-ordinator role on Live or Studio based productions, which will have been delivered on time and on budget
• Experience in creating, monitoring and forecasting budgets
• Experience of working within a large team
• Be confident dealing with talent and agents
• Good knowledge of archive and copyright clearance
• Be able to demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills and manage conflicting demands to meet deadlines
• Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of end-to-end production process with a level of technical understanding to enable the most efficient production of content
• Have demonstrable knowledge of post-production processes
• Be able to manage interpersonal relationships effectively and work collaboratively within a diverse team
• Ideally have BBC systems experience
• Have interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective relations with a wide range of contacts, both internally and externally
