Editor

The Belgrade News is seeking an editor to lead its coverage of the greater Gallatin Valley in beautiful southwest Montana. The Belgrae News is an award-winning weekly newspaper that covers just about everything in Belgrade and other rapidly growing west valley communities. The Belgrade News editor works closely with staff to produce the weekly newspaper and special sections. Duties include supervising one news reporter and working closely with the advertising director. The editor plans content for the weekly paper and special sections; reports/writes news stories and takes photographs; assigns stories and photos to staff and occasionally to freelancers; works closely with the design hub on production of weekly paper. The editor will also works closely with the Bozeman Daily Chronicle and several sister papers across Montana. The successful candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public and represent the Belgrade News in a professional and courteous manner.
