This is not your typical "grab me a cup of coffee" kind of internship; this is an interactive & collaborative work environment, where creativity leads to opportunities to gain hands-on career experience. Our program gives each intern the chance to explore and develop their interests through mentorship, career training, professional development, workshops, collaborative projects and more. We strive to create an innovative, diverse and emerging workforce.

Our internships are geared towards individuals in the early stages of their career path who have a foundational knowledge of the media industry and experience relevant to the specific role for which they are applying. This is an unpaid, 12 week part-time opportunity beginning January 16, 2024 and scheduled to end on April 26, 2024. Candidates should be available to work up to 15 hours per week, and will be given the opportunity to work either remotely or from our NYC office, which may vary depending on the position.

Betches Media is seeking an enthusiastic Content Intern with a passion for editorial content and strategy, eager to learn and contribute to a media company specializing in web, social media, podcasts, and more.

Learning Objectives & Responsibilities:

Assist in organizing and maintaining the editorial calendar to ensure a consistent and well-planned content schedule
Collaborate with the content team to schedule and prioritize content across various platforms, including the website, social media, and podcasts
Aid in the promotion of podcast clips across all relevant accounts
Provide support for the editorial team by assisting with tasks related to content creation, editing, and publication
Help with research, content ideation, and creation of written or social media content for the website, social media, and podcast as needed

Qualifications:

Must be current student, enrolled in a Bachelor’s program at an accredited college or university
Must be eligible to receive academic credit from their college or university for the duration of the internship
Must have a deep love for the Betches brand

This internship is available for the Spring semester. This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 15 hours per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements. The internship begins January 16, 2024 and ends on April 26, 2024.
