The primary objective is to pro-actively support the business development element of the business. You will be expected to work individually and as part of the team, researching and understanding pre-qualification and tender requirements in respect of the submissions being made to ensure that they are accurate, fully compliant and that deadlines are successfully met.

Attention to detail is key.

Responsibilities
Identifying winning bid themes, strategies and actions.
Writing and producing answers for SQ/ITT submissions.
Standardising tender bid submissions and adhering to tender process.
Providing support to the pre-construction team and producing overall tender submissions.
Develop and maintain relationships with technical teams.
Liaison with contract management teams to produce content.
PQQ/ITT reviews.
Document management.

Duties
Liaise closely with Senior Bid Writer to meet overall objectives
Pre-qualification questionnaire submissions
Completing the quality content of tender submissions
Collaborating with pre-construction and construction teams when working on tenders
Collating, compliance checking and submitting full tender document
Ensure content and format of responses maintains brand consistency
Support/cover other members of the bid team

Essential Requirements/Person Specification
1+ year of experience working in similar role.
Evidence of working to deadlines, multi-tasking and excelling under pressure.
Ability to proof-read written works, suggesting changes to add value.
Able to work as part of a team and an individual.
Must be adept in using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, notably InDesign & MS Word.
Strong inter-personal and relationship building skills.
Proficient in document management.
Highly organised.
Keen eye for detail and desire to continuously drive up standards.
