FX/Rates Reporter

Bloomberg News is seeking an FX/rates reporter in London to join its talented team of journalists. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment -- quickly spotting and breaking news -- and adeptly unpick the inner workings of some of the world's biggest markets in real-time.

You'll get a chance to report on bond traders testing the resolve of central banks and wagering on the survival of governments, explain how years of loose monetary policy have distorted markets, and grapple with the plight of the sterling and euro -- in short, some of the biggest issues keeping investors up at night.

We're looking for a self-starter and team player who can connect the dots and break down complicated ideas in a way that is useful both for a sophisticated audience and accessible to general readers.
Above all, you'll need to be fast, accurate and have a passion for markets and journalism.
