You will need to relish breaking news and be capable of both chasing scoops and tackling big-picture feature stories that capture the unprecedented change taking place as automakers become more like tech companies and China cements its clean transport lead with surging sales of electric cars. We want someone who can zero in on compelling stories and tackle coverage in a way that engages with and is mindful of our wide and diverse global audience. While a lack of experience in covering cars won't be a deal-breaker, interest in the beat is essential and a track record of writing about business and/or companies will be looked upon favorably.
